Tocco Report: Color Trend Report - Fall/Winter 24/25

A tribute to Biodesign

The Tocco Color Trend Report for Fall/Winter 2024–25 proposes a restrained, material-conscious approach to color forecasting. Eschewing the volatility of seasonal trends, it foregrounds palettes that align with the principles of biodesign and biomaterials—bold, enduring, and contextually grounded. Anchored by tones such as Peach Fuzz, Chartreuse, and Mahogany, the selection is informed not by market speculation, but by observed applications across design exhibitions, material innovations, and functional artefacts.

Rather than offering aesthetic novelty, the report invites designers to consider color as an extension of material logic. Each hue is chosen for its ability to complement bio-based surfaces, recycled textures, and tactile forms—encouraging a chromatic language that supports longevity and conceptual clarity. This report by the Tocco team reflects a commitment to thoughtful, material-led design perspectives.
